1. I visited my parents this morning since it had been a few weeks since we last saw each other.
2. I tidied up my home office, reorganizing my desk and cables.
3. My wife and I prepared dinner together, as we often do on Sundays. We enjoy spending time in the kitchen together.

1. The day started with doing Saturday morning groceries in the stores around town. Where we had snow only a week ago, temperatures are now around 10°C, which means it’s actually pretty nice outside, especially in the sun.
2. Because of the good weather, my wife, daughter, and I went to the beach for a nice walk and lunch today. We went to the beach in an area where I used to go very often as a child. I told my daughter and my wife stories from 35 to 40 years ago, when I was walking in the same dunes we are now. The only difference was that I used to walk there with my grandfather, and now I was there with my wife and daughter. It was nice to bring back memories. We ended our trip by walking past the house where my grandparents used to live.
3. I ended the day as a couchpotato, watching another episode of [Wakker in Paraguay (Dutch)](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/299389-een-land-hier-ver-vandaan-nederlanders-op-de-vlucht-naar-paraguay). I’m amazed by what I’m seeing and learning from this series.

1. I worked from the office today. It was a fun day in the office with the regular Friday crew. The atmosphere on Friday is always a bit more relaxed, and with fewer meetings, I get more work done.
2. My in-laws came for dinner tonight, and both kids were home, so we had dinner with the six of us.
3. I watched: [Wakker in Paraguay S1E1, Episode 1](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/299389/season/1/episode/1), a new Dutch series which I got tipped on today. 🍿

1. I tried to get four tickets for Bruno Mars in Amsterdam today. I failed.
2. Lots of meetings again at work today, and the day was long because of an afternoon meeting in US Eastern Standard Time with people at my company’s headquarters.
3. After work, I was again a taxi driver for my children. Both kids have very busy schedules in the evenings, and because it’s so dark outside, I don’t want them to come home on their bicycles, as they usually do when there’s more daylight.

1. I worked from home again today because I had a dentist appointment at midday. I’ll be going to the office tomorrow, as I don’t like working from home at all. Two out of three days this week have been enough for me.
2. Late this afternoon, my Internet connection failed. I still don’t know why, but disconnecting every connection to the fiber fixed it. Too bad it took almost 45 minutes of debugging to figure that out. The support engineering the call center was great though.
3. I was a taxi driver again in the evening for my son and his girlfriend. I’m sure I’ll remember these rides, or something precious, in the future.
