MDiT for 20251219

19 December 2025 ·

My Day in Three for today:

1. It took us 8,5 hours to drive 650 kilometers today. The German highways were busier than I expected.
2. We listened to a few podcasts in the car today, including one about [this Dutch documentary](https://www.vpro.nl/de-verborgen-strijd-van-myanmar) about Myanmar.
3. We visited the city of Nuremberg tonight and enjoyed the Christmas spirit here. It was a wonderful experience.

My Day in Three for today:

1. Today was my last day in the office before my Christmas break.
2. I packed our family car for our annual ski trip to Austria tonight. We are leaving for an afternoon in Nuremberg, Germany tomorrow morning and will head out to Austria from there on Saturday.
3. I had to finish some remaining admin work before closing my laptop for the next week. All done now, time to log off!

My Day in Three for today:

1. I wrote my annual ‘Thank You Notes’ for each of my team members.
2. My team and I had a good conversation about what ‘Product-Led’ culture means. We are already in a good place, but there is always room for improvement.
3. Taxi driving for my son and his girlfriend after a long day of work. It’s time for him to get his driver’s license.

My Day in Three for today:

1. One of my peers said today: “You can’t influence others if you can’t be influenced yourself”. It made me think.
2. I joined the 12 Days of Winter Wonder Photo Challenge with the [Micro.blog community](https://challenges.micro.blog/). I’m going to do my best to keep the streak going.
3. I installed and tested the latest version of [Tapestry.app](https://usetapestry.com/). The new theme is great. I really like how much smoother different feeds blend together now.

Play around with Learn Binary if you have a few minutes to spare.

Binary numbers can seem complex and weird, but they’re actually not that hard to understand. You can learn how to read binary numbers and count in binary in just a couple of minutes, which is a pretty cool skill to have.
